What is included in the studio hire?

Hire includes the use of the studio space, associated utilities and photography/videography kit.

Opening hours

Studio 31 is available 5 days a week, 9am to 5pm weekdays and on appointments only on weekends. Please contact us if you require bookings outside of these times. 

Restrictions

The use of water sprinklers or any water splashing/spraying is not permitted. We allow the use of co2, haze/smoke and professionally controlled effects/fx.

Pets/children

Pets and children are more than welcome in the studio space provided that they are under supervision at all times. It is the responsibility of the person hiring the studio to ensure pets and children do not break any equipment or damage any parts of the studio. 

Rearranging/cancelling bookings

We will endeavour to move bookings where possible in the first instance, requesting to move a second time will result in forfeiture of the booking in full. If you need to cancel a booking with 14 working days notice we will refund 50% of the booking fee, after this the booking fee will not be refunded. Bookings cancelled with more than 14 working days notice will be refunded in full. 

Overrunning booking time

If you need to extend your booking due to overrunning, please let us know in the first instance. Provided there are no subsequent bookings, this can usually be accommodated. 

Setup/packing down time

The duration of the booking includes setup and pack down time - we do not allow additional time to setup or pack down. The studio and equipment must be put back as found upon arrival. 

Damage/breakages

Any items damage to the studio or broken items will need to be paid for in full before leaving the studio. 

Wheelchair access

We have wheelchair access and a unisex toilet. Our toilet isn’t a formal disabled toilet.

Parking

We have onsite parking for up to 8 vehicles. More can be arranged upon request.  

Toilets

Toilet facilities available. 

Props

Studio hire includes use of any props in the studio, however these are typically limited to backdrops and seating.  

Food and drink

You are welcome to bring your own food and drink, but please ensure that these are not consumed on the studio setup, equipment or backdrops. Any mess/spillages must be cleaned up prior to departure. 

Wifi

All of the studio has free wifi available and is sign written in the studio for access point/key.
VAT

All hire prices include VAT.

CCTV

There is CCTV within the studios and throughout the building. We understand this may cause some concern when shooting models but is provided for security and safety of photographers, staff and models. If this is of concern, please let us know.
